"Wow! What a heartwarming experience! Seeing first hand how Gail and Ezra interacted with the residents at Chancellor Place (Temecula, CA) was amazing. The duo was able to spend one-on-one time with each of the 20 or so elderly people who were seated at a large table. As Gail and Ezra made their way around the room it was obvious that each person had been personally touched by the experience. "Gail brought Ezra to see daddy (hospice patient), and he enjoyed them. I appreciate when people do things to make my parents happy even if it is only for a little while. Gail and Ezra did just that. Gail took Ezra, sat at my dad’s bedside, put Ezra up on his bed and talked away! Mom (daddy's caregiver) just connected instantly to Ezra too! She hugged Ezra, talked to him, the whole thing! It was just wonderful to see her smile and laugh! Mom was so bubbly, so excited even though she was so tired from not sleeping the night before. When Gail brought Ezra, it made her day! That was all she talked about. She felt so blessed to have had Gail and Ezra as guests in our home. Their ministry is wonderful! Both daddy and mom were blessed. I was blessed and touched that someone would take the time to visit, to bring Jesus over and sit down for a while. That is rare in this day."

"Seeing Dottie respond to Ezra brought tears to my eyes. Dottie 'came to life,' whereas just a few minutes before she had been lethargic. She had not been singing with the group but she sang with Ezra. She has several pictures of Gail and Ezra in her room and the Ezra calendar. All I have to do when I want to see her smile is point to one of those pictures. She feels Ezra is her boyfriend. " |

"Gail and EZRA came to Holladay Park Plaza in Portland, Oregon and visited our Residential Care and Health Care floors. Their interaction with these residents was truly personal and unique. They went up to each person and EZRA had something special to say to each one. Smiles and conversations with EZRA showed how real he became when interacting with people. Several had not responded to nurses or caregivers, but they spoke to EZRA and reached out to him. Staff was touched by his ability to communicate with these residents with physical needs. Gail and EZRA are truly amazing!"

"The first time I saw "Ezra's Touch of Love" in action I was amazed… it was like nothing I had ever seen before. Even though I have watched Gail and Ezra perform for many years there was no comparison to what I witnessed when I saw them interacting with the residents at Chancellor Place. There is a very special and intimate thing that happens when Ezra crawls into the lap of one of his senior friends. They cuddle and hold him and speak to him like he is their own child. It is a joy to watch. I was especially moved when I saw the effect Ezra's visit had on the staff members. Ezra made them laugh too of course, but the looks on their faces went far beyond the amusement of a good joke. They were BEAMING with joy as they watched those they care for laugh, and sing, and respond so positively to Ezra. They were as happy as the residents! Ezra's Touch of Love is something to see. I think everyone should witness it just once… they might just learn something from that little 'dummy.'"
